Is it possible to hide the kittenware overlay from recording, more specifically record standoff 2 only, without the esp overlay showing?

This can't be done through the overlay end. it depends on the recorder app.
Samsung devices with Android 9 and older had built-in recorder that can record per app. Also red magic 3g devices. Though they got rid of this feature in their new devices.
